ACC Power Rankings: Baby, Come Back….

Let’s just get through this.

NCAA Football: UL Monroe at Kentucky Jordan Prather-USA TODAY Sports

#1 Wake Forest (4-0)

Wake Forest is in the driver’s seat of the Atlantic after drubbing FSU. Clemson is struggling and has a bubble screen problem. Soulja Boy also made a viral song. Throw on a backward-fitted cap and some Abercrombie jeans because we’re back in the mid-2000s. Deacs host Louisville Saturday.

#2 Boston College (4-0)

Continuing with this mid-2000’s trend, Boston College is undefeated. If we lose to Jeff Hafley I guess I’ll put on some Creed and drink original Four Lokos.

#3 NC State (3-1)

No. Not talking about it. NC State hosts Louisiana Tech. A very annoying Bama fan in my life graduated from La Tech so I guess I’ll cheer for the Pack.

#4 Clemson (2-2)

David Hale figured it out.

Was Terry Bowden the glue holding this program together? The numbers would say maybe. Terry, come back and continue your Rodney Dangerfield impersonation by getting another degree.

#5 Virginia Tech (3-1)

Virginia Tech knocked off Richmond 21-10. Hokies have the week off.

#6 Pitt (3-1)

Pitt lit up the scoreboard and now faces Georgia Tech in what may play a role in deciding the Coastal champ.

#7 Louisville (3-1)

The Cards beat FSU. Now they face the high-flying Wake Forest Clawfense.

#8 Miami (2-2)

Canes blew out Central Connecticut. Now we get the U facing UVA on a Thursday night.

#9 Georgia Tech (2-2)

After almost knocking off Clemson, the Rambling Wreck looked damn near unstoppable against UNC. Now the game with Pitt will be one of the hottest matchups of the weekend.

#10 North Carolina (2-2)

UNC fell to GT. The Heels should be able to reboot against rival Duke.

#11 Virginia (2-2)

UVA was stomped by Wake. Now they take on Miami Thursday.

#12 Duke (3-1)

DUKE BEAT KANSAS (in football). Now we get another “I wish this was basketball season” game between Duke and UNC.

#13 Syracuse (3-1)

Syracuse was able to pull out some last-minute magic to extinguish the Liberty Flames. This reminds me of a quote.

Cuse will now head to Tallahassee to try to give Florida State loss #5.

#14 Florida State (0-4)

FSU is 0-4, possibly will be 0-5 after this week. This season isn’t all bad.
