Nine months ago we saw our Clemson Tigers walk off the field after a disappointing loss to LSU. Today we finally get an opportunity to turn our attention to a new season as Clemson travels up to Winston-Salem to take on Wake Forest in the season opener.

And while COVID-19 makes today a bit of a surreal experience, there will still be moments to celebrate. We still get one more year of Trevor Lawrence slinging the ball around the field. And his majestic hair. We also have an opportunity to see Travis Etienne run through defenses before he heads to the NFL.

Plus we get to see just what the defense looks like this year. It is always interesting to see how Brent Venables pulls out some wizardry, and this year is no exception.

Kickoff for this one is 7:30pm EST with the broadcast coming on ABC. It is indeed strange times when a Clemson - Wake Forest game gets prime time billing on network TV, but here we are.
