We initially reported the following:
Several sources including 247 Sports are reporting that the NFL draft, previously scheduled for April 23-25 in Las Vegas will be rescheduled. Some say it could happen in late May, and it will not be in Las Vegas.
We’ve now come to learn these reports were false:
Here it is: the official NFL release that public events surrounding the NFL draft will not take place: pic.twitter.com/UdFSsdISmm— Amie Just (@Amie_Just) March 16, 2020
Although Clemson is bringing back most of their star players, several graduates are in the NFL draft. LB Isaiah Simmons is expected to be a top 10 pick. CB AJ Terrell should go a round later. OL John Simpson shouldn’t follow by much and then Clemson safeties K’Von Wallace and Tanner Muse should get drafted as well. Muse’s 4.41 40-yard dash opened eyes and shattered stereotypes about a lack of athleticism and may go a long way in improving his draft stock. OL Sean Pollard, WR Diondre Overton, and LB Chad Smith could also be drafted or signed as undrafted free agents.
Please do what you can to help mitigate the damage by washing and/or sanitizing your hands more than usual and being mindful of where you go. Please consider helping the Clemson Community by supporting our fundraiser for Clemson Community Care.
