South Carolina local Will Taylor has signed his letter of intent to join the Tigers this year. The Irmo, SC native is one of two three start players in this class, and has a .8452 rating from 247. Taylor’s primary recruiter was Tyler Grisham, but it is hard to say much here since Taylor was already coming to Clemson to play baseball.

If Taylor makes it to campus he will fit in as a slot receiver, measuring in at 5’10” and weighing 157 lbs. But there is a concern on if he will even make it to campus. Should Will get drafted high enough in the 2021 MLB Draft he could head directly into professional baseball and never step foot on campus.

In the slot Taylor would obviously fit the profile of the typical receiver, and everyone is going to be eager to compare him to Hunter Renfrow. But this is a good type of flyer to take at a position where Clemson usually has a lot of talented depth.
