Clemson Tigers vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish: TV Schedule, How To Watch, Live Gamethread

It’s weird to think of how different this game was 2 weeks ago - or even a week ago. Now Clemson makes the trip up to Notre Dame absent Trevor Lawrence and some key defensive starters. Clemson gets another night game. Kickoff is at 7:30pm EST, but you’ll have to turn on NBC to watch this one.

Notre Dame is a hard team to get a handle on given some of their interesting performances this year. But, given Clemson’s last two games, this could be a very competitive game. On offense the big question is what, if any, running game exists for Clemson. I’m not hopeful, but stranger things have happened. As for DJ, we’ll see what he does with his first road start against a defense that will try to confuse him. Maybe we’ll see some more designed runs early in the game to help.

On defense, just who is playing will be important. Tyler Davis is probably the most important of those names, especially when it comes to stopping Notre Dame on the ground. Even though the BC game appeared worse than it was, there have been enough troubling trends that having Davis back is critical. Unfortunately, he will not be on the field today.
