After much speculation, Clemson senior running back Tavien Feaster will transfer to South Carolina following his graduation in August. The move was first reported via WachFox in Columbia and Matt Connolly at the State newspaper. Feaster finishes his Clemson career with 222 carries for 1330 yards. The former four star out of Spartanburg has a chance to be huge for the Gamecocks, who face what is billed the nation’s toughest schedule.
Feaster is in a unique position who crosses the lines in the heated rivalry between Clemson and South Carolina. Recently, former Tiger DB Kaleb Chalmers joined the Gamecocks after his dismissal from Clemson. Reportedly, Feaster chose between South Carolina and ACC foe Virginia Tech. This is certainly an odd end to Feaster’s Clemson legacy, having been such an anticipated recruit granted permission to wear CJ Spiller’s retired #28, to turn around and wind up playing his final days in Columbia. However, Feaster is and always be a Tiger. Good luck, Tavien, and thanks for the memories.
