#1 Clemson (6-0, 4-0) (LW:#1)
Clemson looked very much like the Clemson we know and love. Trevor Lawrence’s day was done with roughly nine minutes left in the third quarter. Clemson could’ve easily busted 70 on the Noles had it wanted to. Another fun fact from this game: Etienne completed a pass for 23 yards, Trevor Lawrence had a reception, Amari Rodgers had a rushing touchdown, and Xavier Thomas had a rushing attempt. While the Fridge 2.0 package failed on 4th down I’m excited that this is back in the playbook and look forward to seeing it again.
#2 Notre Dame (5-1, 2-0 vs ACC) (LW:#2)
Notre Dame survived a rally from the real USC. Irish have this weekend off.
#3 North Carolina (3-3, 2-2) (LW:#5)
The Tar Heels had the weekend off and will face Virginia Tech on Saturday.
#4 Wake Forest (5-1, 1-1) (LW:#3)
The dream is dead. The idea of an undefeated Wake Forest coming into Death Valley for a matchup with our Tigers is no more now that Wake lost to Louisville 62-59. Wake can get back on track when they host FSU this week.
#5 Pitt (4-2, 1-1) (LW:#6)
Pitt was off over the weekend. Panthers will play at Syracuse on Friday.
#6 Virginia (4-2, 2-1) (LW:#4)
The Wahoos absolutely flopped in Miami, losing 17-9 to a bad Canes team.
Miami wins just because the ACC can’t have nice things

The ACC Coastal continues it search for a good team. Wahoos host Duke this weekend.
#7 Duke (4-2, 2-1) (LW:#7)
The Devils romped a struggling Georgia Tech team 41-23 on homecoming. Duke now heads to Charlottesville for a date with UVA.
#8 Louisville (4-2, 2-1) (LW:#9)
The Cards had one of the most impressive performances of the day beating Wake 62-59. One thing this shows is how poorly Bobby Petrino was doing in the past few years.
Louisville had 800 combined yards of total offense and kickoff/punt return yards against Wake Forest.

Louisville now gets a real test as Clemson comes to town this weekend.
#9 NC State (4-2, 1-1) (LW:#12)
NC State held on to beat Syracuse 16-10 in Raleigh. Pack will play at Boston College Saturday.
#10 Syracuse (4-2, 1-1) (LW:#8)
Syracuse’s late rally and fell short against NC State. The Orangemen will play Pitt on Friday night.
#11 Boston College (3-3, 1-2) (LW:#11)
Boston College had the weekend off. They’ll host North Carolina State this weekend.
#12 Virginia Tech (4-2, 1-2) (LW:#13)
Easy Hokie win over Rhode Island 34-17. Virginia Tech takes on North Carolina Saturday
#13 Miami (3-3, 1-2) (LW:#14)
The Canes upset UVA in Miami Friday night. The U will host downtrodden Georgia Tech on Saturday.
#14 Florida State (3-3, 2-2) (LW:#10)
After a nice little run, the Noles were shocked back to reality by Clemson. FSU now gets an angry Wake Forest team on the road.
#15 Georgia Tech (1-5, 0-3) (LW:#15)
In what was a catastrophic week for sports in the state of Georgia, Georgia Tech did their part by getting beat down by Duke. The Jackets head down to Miami to face a Canes team that is improving.
