Well we’re here. Clemson’s season finally starts after countless debates about the quarterbacks, the dominance of the defensive line, and a few other things. And we get to wash the taste of that Alabama beat down out of our mouth.
Yes, Clemson should win easily, and yes, we always caution about taking too much from games against FCS teams. But there are a few things to look at. We finally get a chance to see Trevor Lawrence, and we get to see how much Kelly Bryant has improved in throwing the deep ball.
Another thing to keep an eye out for is how the true freshman look. With the new redshirt rules, players can play in up to 4 games and still qualify for a redshirt, we could see some guys get a few snaps in this one before taking that redshirt.
