While the 2019 Clemson recruiting class was spectacular, the 2020 class has potential to be just as good. In 2020, the Tigers have already secured commitments from five four-star recruits.

The Tigers’ 2020 class ranks seventh nationally, and second in the ACC.

The point of emphasis for the 2020 class has to be the offensive line. In the 2019 class, Clemson was only able to sign three o-linemen. The Clemson staff has already matched that number in 2020. All three of Clemson’s 2020 offensive lineman commits are ranked inside the top 40 for their position.

Clemson’s two other commits in the 2020 class are: Sergio Allen (ILB), and Demonte Capehart (DL.) These two defensive players are oozing with potential. Both Allen and Capehart will have opportunities to make major contributions to the Tiger defense.

This class has gotten off to a promising start, but it is not anywhere close to being complete. Clemson will look to get commitments from D.J Uiagalelei, Tank Bigsby, Julian Fleming, and many others.

It is extremely early, but it already looks like the Clemson 2020 recruiting class could be really, really good.
