Normally this gamethread would be going up at 6:30 in the evening or so. Normally this game is a matchup between two top 15 teams looking to secure the ACC Atlantic and make a case for a playoff spot. Normally both teams are excellent.
This is not a normal Clemson - FSU game. FSU has continued their struggles from last year and Clemson looks poised to take the ACC Atlantic and more. That’s why this one is a noon game on ABC and not a College Gameday candidate.
But make no mistake, FSU can win this game. They’ve got a lot of talent and most of it matches up well with Clemson. FSU’s problems come along the OL and in execution, they just haven’t done it much this year. Clemson is going to get FSU’s best shot though and don’t be surprised if this one is close just like the last few years.
