Graduate transfer Tyler Jackson went tossed a complete game shut out while other graduate transfer Weston Jackson went 3-5 with three RBI’s and a homer as Clemson routed Vanderbilt 6-0. Tyler 3 Commodores and allowed one walk in his team leading ninth win of the year. He becomes the first Tiger pitcher to throw a complete game shutout in a NCAA tournament game since Josh Cribb led Clemson to a 6-0 win over the College of Charleston on June 4th, 2005.

Weston Jackson not only showed out offensively, but made some brilliant plays in right field as he got the start with Seth Beer playing DH. Weston wasn’t the only Tiger outfielder to make the highlight reel with his glove. Reed Rohlman made many phenomenal catches in left field, including an unbelievable diving grab in the sixth and made an insane grab over the wall to rob Vandy of a homer in the ninth.

The Tigers and Commodores will face off for the regional championship today at 4:00 PM on ESPNU. The winner of the game will be heading to Corvallis, Oregon next week for a best of three series with number one overall seed Oregon State. The Beavers gnawed through their region with ease, clinching it Sunday night with a 8-1 win over Yale.
