College Football Week 8: How To Watch, TV Schedule, Online Streaming

NCAA Football: Clemson at Syracuse Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Good news friends, there is college football this week. Bad news, Clemson does not play. So now we have to watch a bunch of football and stew for another week. The schedule has some interesting games, though I can’t promise quality football.

Early on Oklahoma State plays Texas in something that could be decent. But if you want to watch “fun” football you should take a look at Louisville - FSU. How much difference a year makes for a matchup.

3:30 is where things get interesting. Miami plays Syracuse and a loss by Syracuse would almost certainly make the Clemson - NC State game in 2 weeks the de facto ACC Atlantic Division championship. Assuming NC State and Clemson can win next week. If you like snuff films Alabama plays Tennessee at this time too.

The evening slot sees a B1G game that will do a lot to shape the conference race when Michigan and Penn State play. A win by Michigan would help muddy things up nicely while a Penn State victory would set up a huge B1G game next week when Penn State plays Ohio State.

In great rivalries the true USC plays Notre Dame at the same time. Notre Dame has quietly put together a good season and a win over the Trojans would vault them into the real national spotlight. For purely selfish reasons root for USC. Notre Dame is a wild card in the playoff race, but as always if Clemson wins out they should be in.
