Well, that took long enough.
Clemson has finally seemed to shake off their rust, hanging 59 points on an outmatched South Carolina State team. Deshaun Watson looked sharp going 12/15 for 152 yards and 3 touchdowns, the receiving core was stellar, combining for 27 catches 328 yards and 5 touchdowns, and the defense was stout as evident by there shutout performance.
Clemson played so well that the “mercy rule” came into affect in the second half.
