2016 Clemson Football Season Preview: An Introduction

A new season means a new season preview here at Shakin’ The Southland. As you may have guessed from some hints, things are going to be a bit different this year. The past two years we’ve published an article every hour on the hour for an entire day, 12-13 articles in all.

This year we’ve gone a bit overboard. We’re expanding the season preview. A few new ideas came up, some old ones got tweaked, and suddenly we have 30 articles. So now our season preview is a week earlier and is going to last all week. We have 6 articles coming each day this week.

What can you expect? Well, as always, our position previews are back. We’re breaking down each position with a look at the departures, returning players, and new contributors. You’ll see a few thoughts on what we expect out of the position and what needs to happen for a successful season.

You’ll also get a few film breakdowns of what to expect on offense and defense, as well as a review of the coaching staff. As always, we will preview our expectations and even have a podcast. We’ve also got a few surprises coming, but I’m not going to ruin those just yet.
