After winning the school's 10th ACC Tournament Championship Sunday evening, Clemson was named 1 of 8 National Seeds for the 2016 NCAA Tournament. The Tigers join Florida, Louisville, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, LSU, Miami, and Texas Tech as national seeds.
As a National Seed Clemson will host a Regional as well as a Super Regional if they advance. Clemson's Regional was announced as:
1. Clemson
2. Oklahoma State
3. Nebraska
4. Western Carolina
Clemson will take on Western Carolina for their first game this Friday at 7pm EST while Oklahoma State and Nebraska face off at 12pm EST. The winners will face off against each other while the losers will also play each other on Saturday. Tickets are available for all games in the Regional at the Clemson Athletics website and all games will be available on ESPN3. Some games could be moved to ESPN cable channels as the weekend goes on.
The winner of the Clemson Regional will go on to play the winner of the South Carolina Regional. The Gamecocks will be joined by UNC Wilmington, Duke, and Rhode Island this weekend.
