Once again it has been a roller coaster season for Clemson basketball. Early OOC struggles led to a fantastic January only for our hopes of an NCAA Tournament berth to end with a crushing loss to Georgia Tech. Tonight Clemson hosts one of the top teams in the ACC, Virginia. Right now the Cavs would get the 3rd seed in the ACC Tournament, and they are only 1.5 games behind top seed UNC.
For Clemson, a win tonight could bump them up to a higher seed, currently 7th, in the ACC Tournament. Maybe that gets us to go on an unusual run. Maybe we somehow get into the ACC Tournament. Of course this just means we'll win tonight only to lose our final ACC game in excruciating fashion.
