The 2017 Tigers’ baseball team will open play February 17. They’ll open the season with a three game home series against Wright State February 17th-19th. First pitch of the season will be at 4:00 of the 17th.

17 of Clemson’s first 20 games will be in the friendly confines of Doug Kingsmore Stadium. The Tigers will renew their annual rivalry with South Carolina with a three game weekend series March 3rd-5th. Last season, Clemson dropped game one to the Gamecocks in Columbia but came back to win the next two games to give the Tigers the series win. The Rivalry opens up with Clemson hosting South Carolina Friday, March 3rd at 6:30. The two teams will meet again the following day at Flour Field in Greenville (first pitch time to be determined), and then close up the series March 5th in Columbia with a 1:30 first pitch. Clemson will play two other games at Flour Field. Michigan State will play the Tigers in Greenville on March 8, and then the Tigers will return to Flour play the Furman Paladins on May 9th.

The Tigers will play 10 teams that made the NCAA Tournament last season, including hosting College World Series champion Coastal Carolina on May 16th. The ACC Baseball Tournament will begin May 23rd and end on May 28th. It will be played at Louisville Slugger Field in Louisville, Kentucky.
