Clemson drops a tough one to Pitt in a weekend full of upsets.

Clemson’s good fortune ran out this Saturday as the Tigers were upset by the Pittsburgh Panthers. The careless turnovers finally caught up to Clemson. Give Pitt credit; offensive coordinator Matt Canada drew up a masterful game-plan and the Panthers ran it to perfection.

Rex Ryan was in attendance for Clemson’s loss to Pitt.

Deshaun Watson became the first junior in ACC history to reach 10,000 yards of total offense.

Clemson will likely make the playoff if they win out. The Tigers have plenty of things to clean up. Deshaun Watson needs to make better decisions with the ball and Wayne Gallman needs to get his touches. Defensively, I am not too worried. This was the rare occasion where Brent Venables gets out-coached, but it’s football; that happens.

This Monday in particular will be very tough. I am going to leave you with some motivation for the rest of the season.
