Clemson’s defense comes up big once again. The closest games of the weekend and more.

Lamar Jackson and Louisville came up short against the Tigers in Death Valley.

What a weekend!

Unless you live under a rock, I am sure that you know Clemson defeated the Louisville Cardinals 42-36 this past Saturday. While the game may have been sloppy at times, there is no disputing how exciting it was. When plays needed to be made Deshaun Watson and the Tigers stepped up.

The ACC now has 6 teams ranked in the AP top 25. 3 of those 6 teams are ranked in the top 10, Clemson (3), Louisville (7), and Miami (10).

Tennessee defeated Georgia on a last second Hail Mary.

Pro Tigers

Rookie wide receiver, Charone Peake scored his first career touchdown in the Jets loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

CJ Spiller got off to a good start as a new member of the Seattle Seahawks, catching a touchdown pass from Russell Wilson in the 2nd quarter.

Injury update

Tre Lamar has a sprained ankle and Adrian Baker may see his first live action in practice this week.

Monday’s stink, there’s no changing that. However, this one feels a little better after a win over a top 5 opponent.
