Since the season started we've had this game circled on the calendar. The winner of this game has won the Atlantic Division, and usually the ACC, for the previous 7 seasons. And then Louisville showed up to embarrass Florida State. All of a sudden everyone forgot about this game.
But anyone overlooking FSU is foolish. This is a top 15 team, at home, against a Clemson team that has looked impressive and inconsistent. The home team is 12-2 in this series since the 2002 game. This isn't going to be easy and despite being favored by Vegas I'm skeptical of Clemson as the favorite.
A win tonight doesn't secure the Atlantic Division, but a win does eliminate the last big obstacle to Clemson returning to the title game. From there games against Syracuse, Pitt, and Wake Forest ensure that Clemson should advance if they perform to expectations.
As always go ahead and join us in the comments to talk this one.
