Clemson knocks off No. 16 Louisville

The Tigers won their third straight game in ACC play with an upset of the Cardinals.

Jaron Blossomgame scored 17 points and Avry Holmes added 16 to lead Clemson to an upset win over No. 16 Louisville.

Holmes made 11 of 14 free throw attempts, including a pair in the final seconds to seal the win for the Tigers. Clemson went 32 of 44 from the line as a team.

Donte Grantham and Jordan Roper chipped in 12 and 10 points, respectively, and Sidy Djitte posted 9 points and 12 rebounds off the bench.

The Tigers held Louisville leading scorer Damion Lee to 6 points on 2 of 12 shooting, while backcourt mate Trey Lewis made just 3 of 19 shots.

The Cardinals finished just 3 of 23 from beyond the arc after missing their first 15 attempts.

After a disappointing 7-5 performance in non-conference play and a loss to open the conference slate, Clemson has won three ACC games in a row. The Tigers host No. 14 Duke on Wednesday.
