After a cupcake game that went as well as expected, Clemson ramps up the difficulty a little bit with a visit from Appalachian State. Everyone remembers the Mountaineers from their 2007 upset victory over Michigan, but times have changed for the North Carolina school. Now they are members of FBS and while the talent level has improved, Clemson should still handle them easily.
The loss of Mike Williams will provide all of the receivers an opportunity to step up today before a critical road game against Louisville on Thursday. Hopefully we'll see some receivers step up, and hopefully no one on the team will be looking past the Mountaineers. Maybe we'll also see our OL continue to do things like block and provide holes for the running game.
As always join us below for the game. While you're waiting, feel free to check out the latest episode of Clemson Pawcast, this one discusses all things App State.
