Opponent Notes:

Arizona State- The Sun Devils will be making their 38th postseason appearance. This is not the first time the Tigers and Devils have tangled in the post season. In 2009, the ASU swept Clemson in the Tempe Super Regional. The next season, Clemson got revenge against ASU with a 6-3 win over the #1 ranked Sun Devils in the final College World Series to be held at Rosenblatt, which was Clemson's last trip to Omaha. Offensively, ASU is led by Outfielder Trever Allen. The Senior from Tempe leads the team with a .345 batting average and is in the top 5 of most offensive categories.

Cal State Fullerton- Those unfamiliar with college baseball may not know much about the Titans. CSUF has a proud history of baseball, having 16 appearances in Omaha, winning 4 championships. The most recent one was in 2004, when they had future major leaguers Vinnie Pestano, Ricky Romero, and Kurt Suzuki on the roster. These many trips to the College World Series have led many Titans fans to wear t-shirts emblazoned with the words "Cal State Omaha." The Titans are coached by Rick Vanderhook, who is in his third year leading the program

Pepperdine- The Fullerton regional could provide Clemson with its first chance to play the Waves of Pepperdine in baseball. Pepperdine makes the tournament this year by winning the West Coast Conference Championship. Pepperdine is located in Malibu, CA, and is a private university affiliated with the Church of Christ. Pepperdine won the 1992 College World
