Clemson got 17 first-half points from Donte Grantham and cruised to a 78-45 win over Texas-San Antonio.
Grantham finished with 22 on 7 of 9 shooting, including 5 of 7 from three-point range. He also spent significant time guarding UTSA leading scorer Ryan Bowie, who shot just 2 of 13 from the field with the two makes coming late in the contest.
Jordan Roper added 13 points, and Jaron Blossomgame posted 11 points and 8 rebounds. Gabe Devoe came off the bench to score 11 points.
Clemson assisted on 22 of 27 made shots, with the starting backcourt of Roper and Avry Holmes combining for 12 assists.
The Tigers shot better than 50% from the field and were an impressive 12 of 25 from three.
Clemson left a lot of points at the free-throw stripe, making just 12 of 23 after hitting 20 of 23 in the season opener.
The Tigers are back in action Thursday night when they host Texas Southern at 7 p.m.
