Having locked up the ACC Atlantic crown, and on-paper having the most manageable path to an undefeated regular season and playoff berth of any P5+ND program, it's a darn good time to be a Clemson Tiger. Each of us should take the time to appreciate how rare and difficult simply getting to this point has been.
Still, nobody with orange-hued plasma coursing through his veins would take any of this, or what *could* come next, for granted — there's still work to be done, and goals yet to be achieved. We've discussed areas the team needs to improve to compete with the best, and our remaining games are far from cupcakes.
Syracuse played LSU tough at home, and would love nothing more than to derail these Tigers' hype train. Wake Forest literally means a funeral in the woods. A down Gamecocks team would love to play the part of David to our Goliath, and Larry Fedora's offense at UNC appears incredibly competent. 13-0 is in our sights, but it'll take a 1-0 mentality to get there.
For this weekend's matchup, we explore the many things in Clemson's favor, and discuss just how ugly it can get for Syracuse. Pertinent to our standing nationally, we also discuss whether Clemson truly is the top team in the country this year.
And following suit from our friends at STS, we spend some time looking ahead to the basketball season from a fan's perspective.
