Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl- Ole Miss vs TCU (-3.5, o/u 56) @ Georgia Dome (Atlanta) 12:30 (ESPN)

To start off New Years Eve, we get the Chick-fil-A Peach bowl where Ole Miss finishes the season where they started - in the Georgia Dome. The Rebels started off the season beating Boise State 35-13. Now they get a TCU squad that was just left out of the Playoffs. Now, if Ole Miss gets the win, don't expect any "TCU didn't want to be there" talk. It'll be all Ole Miss/SEC hype. They only use that excuse out when we beat someone in a bowl game (even if it's 40-6 over an unranked team). If TCU wins, somehow Ole Miss will have not wanted to be there. Expect ESPN to be breaking out the excuse mill for this one. The Goldin Guarantee: TCU 38 Ole Miss 31

Vizio Fiesta Bowl- Boise State vs Arizona (-3.5, o/u 69.5) @ U of Phoenix Stadium (Phoenix, AZ) 4:00 (ESPN)

College Football's Underdog Darling takes on the only squad who beat Oregon (but couldn't get the job done a second time in the Pac-12 title game). The Mountain West champion Broncos have two losses, so it's safe to say they've come a long way from having to be undefeated to go to the Fiesta Bowl. 'Zona may be the favorite, but you can't pick against the Broncos in Phoenix. The Goldin Guarantee: Boise St 42 Arizona 41

Capital One Orange Bowl- Georgia Tech vs Miss St (-7, o/u 61.5) @ Sun Life Stadium (Miami Gardens) 8:00 (ESPN)

And we end 2014 with Dak Presscott and the Dawgs taking on Paul Johnson's Yellow Jackets. Here's another game where if GT wins, the ESPN spin machine will claim that Miss St didn't want to be in this game, because of their Playoff aspirations. GT has been the most surprising team in the ACC this year, and I think they could win, except for one big thing. If you give a good coach a month to prepare for the triple option, then there's a good chance he'll stop it. I think Miss St can use a month and a year's worth of tape to figure out a game plan that will work. I hate picking against GT, but I don't think they get the win. The Goldin Guarantee: Miss St 34 GT 24

Outback Bowl- Auburn (-6.5, o/u 63.5) vs Wisonsin @ Raymond-James Stadium (Tampa) 12:00 (ESPN2)

This is one of the more fun games for us to start off with. On one hand, Raymond-James Stadium has a replica pirate ship in it with cannons that fire when the Buccaneers score a touchdown (they don't fire too often). On the other hand, the winner of this game determines what free appetizer you can enjoy from Outback. If Auburn wins, it's a Bloomin' Onion. Wisconsin wins, it's Coconut Shrimp. I'm feeling bold and think we'll all be dining on shrimp this year. The Goldin Guarantee: Wisconsin 27 Auburn 24

Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic- Michigan State vs Baylor (-2.5, o/u 70) @ Cotton Bowl (Dallas) 12:30 (ESPN)

The Spartan's defense will have its hands full with Bryce Petty and company. The Bears are another Big 12 team that got left out of the playoffs, and after Oklahoma (ha!) and Texas getting beat down in their bowl games, along with West Virginia losing to ex Big 12er Texas A&M, the decision to not include a Big 12 team is looking like a pretty good one. Baylor will have the last shot at protecting the Big 12's reputation. The Goldin Guarantee: Baylor 42 Michigan St 40

Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl- Missouri (-4.5, o/u 48) vs Minnesota @ Florida Citrus Bowl (Orlando) 1:00 (ABC)

Last time we saw a game at the Citrus Bowl, our beloved Tigers were stomping Oklahoma behind Cole Stoudt playing the game of his life (my player grades will be out later this week). Mizzou and the Gophers should be a good one, but if it starts to be a blow, I'm sure the folks at Buffalo Wild Wings will make it interesting. If this game actually plays out like those commercials, it would actually be pretty cool, but I'll settle for a late game winning drive. The Golding Guarantee: Mizzou 35 Minn 17

The Rose Bowl Presented by Northwestern Mutual (Semifinal)- Florida State vs Oregon (-8/5, o/u 72.5) @ Rose Bowl (Pasadena, CA) 5:00 (ESPN)

The Grandaddy of them all becomes a playoff semifinal this year as two Heisman Trophy winners square off. Marcus Mariota is a boss, but how many times this year have the Noles pulled games out when they looked like they were going to lose. They aren't as good as 2013, but they have that 2010 Auburn luck, and I can't pick against that. The Goldin Guarantee: Florida State 38 Oregon 35. (*Note: I'm not an ACC homer, I actually would love to see Oregon win. I just don't think it happens.)

Allstate Sugar Bowl- Ohio State vs Alabama (-9, o/u 57.5) @ Mercedes-Benz Superdome (New Orleans) 8:00 (ESPN)

The second semifinal features a couple of old nemesis; Urban Meyer of Ohio State and Nick Saban of Alabama. Last time the Tide played in New Orleans, Oklahoma (ha!) was tearing them up in a game that they "didn't want to play in". This time, that shouldn't be an issue. Saban will have them ready to go. Ohio State was the last team to get in the playoffs, so everyone is expecting them to get blown out. Again, I'd love for them to win, but I don't see it happening. The Goldin Guarantee: Alabama 28 Ohio State 22
