First the important news. Deshaun Watson will start today. We don't know how much he can play, how mobile he is, or what he can do, but he is going to start. It gives us a chance, and hopefully he can play the whole game effective.
Now that that's out of the way, it is time to beat South Carolina. 5 years is about 4 too many and this streak needs to end. It is time for Clemson to finally win arguably the biggest game on their schedule year in and year out. It is time for this senior class to finally get that victory against South Carolina. It is also the final home game for this group of seniors, and they are a pretty talented group.
This also appears to be Chad Morris' final game at Clemson. The rumors from Thanksgiving indicate he will be named SMU's head coach next week, and while not confirmed they appear to be pretty reliable rumors. It is going to be interesting to see how the crowd treats Morris. Hopefully they give him a good send off just in case. Despite his faults the man has done a damn good job turning around an offense that would have taken anaemic as an improvement.
Join us below in the gamethread for this one, it is going to be fun.
