No. 22 Clemson will try to put last week's disappointing loss to Georgia Tech behind them with a non-conference game against Georgia State. The afternoon game, which is this season's Military Appreciation Day and the first meeting between the teams, will kick off at 3:30 p.m. in Death Valley.
The Panthers have just one win--against Division II Abilene Christian--in their two FBS seasons and present a chance for the Tigers to get back on track. Cole Stoudt will start at quarterback in place of the injured Deshaun Watson, and the struggling offense could certainly use a good day with South Carolina coming to town in a week.
