Well, last week I went 3-3. It's been a crazy year for picks in college football. I don't know anyone that would've called Auburn losing to A&M, but wow. That was just a taste of the wildness that has been this season, and Week 12 should be no different.
Saturday 11/15
Clemson (-3.5, o/u 60.5) @ Georgia Tech 12:00 (ESPN)
D-Wat's back, and Clemson fans couldn't be happier. The Tigers haven't beaten GT in Atlanta since we laid a 39-3 beat down on the Jackets in '03 (I was there, and it was awesome). That being said, Clemson has a 2 game streak on GT going into this weekend. Those 2 records seem like they would contradict, but due to the fact that GT only sells out when Clemson and UGA come to town, they let the ACC schedule them in Death Valley 2 years in a row so Clemson and UGA would visit in alternating years. Paul Johnson scares me, both with his scowl and his teams cut blocking. But, their talent hasn't been all that over the past few years, and we have the best defense that Coach V has had. Hopefully, Deshaun Watson will bring back the points for our O on Saturday on a GT defense that can be exploited. The Goldin Guarantee: Clemson 42 GT 27
Virginia Tech @ Duke (-5.5, o/u 48) 12:00 (ESPNU)
Duke is 8-1 and VT is 4-5. Welcome to 2014. Duke looks to keep rolling toward their second straight Coastal Division Title, while the Hokies continue their slide. 2 programs going in opposite directions, and it wouldn't shock me if Frank Beamer stepped down after this season. He's done a lot for the Hokies, but they've been faltering over the past few years. The saddest thing about this game is that Duke fans will just see it as an appetizer to their Saturday Night basketball game against Fairfield. By the way, Presbyterian takes on Coach K's squad Friday night, so maybe our pals from Clinton can take it to the Devils. The Goldin Guarantee: Duke 30 VT 13
South Carolina @ Florida (-7, o/u 58.5) 12:00 (SEC Network)
Speaking of older coaches that may be stepping down, Steve Spurrier takes South Carolina to the Swamp where they have the task of beating a Florida team that may be rejuvenated after it's beat down of Georgia. Gator Nation seems to be back supporting Will Muschamp... for now. Whereas, Gamecock fans are trying to figure out how they continue to blow fourth quarter leads. The Gamecocks have 3 games to get the 2 wins necessary to become bowl eligible, which with road games at Florida and Clemson sandwiching a season finale with South Alabama, doesn't look to promising for Spurrier. The Goldin Guarantee: Florida 34 South Carolina 24
Auburn @ Georgia (-2.5, o/u 69) 7:15 (ESPN)
Dawg fans have their own star returning to celebrate, as Todd Gurley comes back for the first time since the Vanderbilt game. Auburn is still reeling from A&M upsetting them last week. UGA fans haven't forgotten "The Prayer at Jordan-Hare" from last year, and will definitely have Sanford Stadium rocking for the "Deep South's Oldest Rivalry". This one should be an exiting matchup. The Goldin Guarantee: UGA 41 Auburn 37
Florida State (-2, o/u 62) @ Miami 8:00 (ABC)
This rivalry returns for another exciting matchup as Famous Jameis Winston heads to the 305 to take on Al Golden's squad. The Canes are at 6-3 and would love nothing more than to derail FSU's road to a repeat title. The Nole's have dropped to #3 in the Playoff rankings despite being undefeated, so it is easy to assume that a one loss FSU team would not make the top 4. Another rivalry that should be fun to watch. The Goldin Guarantee: FSU 27 Miami 20
Alabama (-8.5, o/u 52) @ Mississippi State 8:00 (CBS)
Despite heading on the road to the #1 team's house, the Tide still come in as over a touchdown favorite against the Dogs of Starkville. After surviving LSU in overtime, the Tide look to have a good shot to get back into the Playoff picture. That being said, Dak Prescott has shown out for MSU and has drawn comparison's to his hero Tim Tebow. The Goldin Guarantee: Miss St 31 Alabama 28
