Adam Choice left the Boston College game, but I didn't suspect it was season ending. Unfortunately, TigerNet and the Orange and White are reporting that it is a torn ACL and he is done for the season.
Choice has impressed us as his snap count increased in recent weeks and was beginning to form a nice duo with Wayne Gallman atop the depth chart. This obviously is not what anyone wanted when the redshirt was pulled off Choice due to Zac Brooks' injury. Clemson's depth at RB will be tested now with two running backs done for the season.
Fortunately, Tyshon Dye will be a full participant in practice taking Choice's reps. It's possible he will see limited action against Syracuse.
With C Jay Guillermo, WR Charone Peake, RB Adam Choice, and QB Deshaun Watson out with injury, the offense won't be very effective. Hopefully Peake, Guillermo, and Watson can all return against Georgia Tech and find a rhythm before the Palmetto Bowl.
