Clemson vs. Louisville: News and Links

Joshua S. Kelly-USA TODAY Sports

It is finally here, Clemson's second biggest ACC game of the season. Before the season started there was a lot of maybe not worry but rather hesitation or pause about this game. Everyone in college football knows Bobby Petrino can churn out a fantastic offense, but several ugly games has left fans breathing easier.

That said, Louisville's defense has performed extremely well. Despite the lackluster competition the Cardinals are considered one of the best defenses in college football regardless of the rankings. That said, Clemson has an offense that is infinitely better than one seen by Louisville.

For Clemson's defense it will be about limiting the influence of receiver Devante Parker. The Cardinal receiver is returning from a broken foot and it may not be an exaggeration to say his performance will determine how successful Louisville is.

Oh and can we please run the ball again? It was nice to see that again.
