The Tigers move deeper into conference play when they face the Boston College Eagles this afternoon. Use this post and the ensuing thread as the place to discuss the early games. Enjoy the goodies below including today's football television schedule, a few links from the mothership, quick takes from yours truly, and of course the videos.
Today's games are nothing to really get excited about. For that reason (and for many more), I'll take my tail to the golf course and leave the early games for the late sleepers. Noon leaves little for the fans...NC State/Miami and Arkansas/Texas A&M are the picks for the Southeast region...Baylor/West Virginia is the marquee matchup at noon featuring two Top 25 teams but still doesn't really interest me.
What I didn't calculate was the golf. Ryder Cup action is the best. It is the one time every two years that the golf gods will not strike you down for acting a fool while watching the matches. Watch the TV, it is nothing short of a party/riot from the first to last shot. You may have to deal with Johnny and Rog for a day, BUT you also get to run around with no shirt on, waving an American flag, chanting "USA! USA!"and just loving life. The US leads the Euros 5-3 and are looking for another big day today as well.
3:30 (for me) features UGA/Tennessee, Clemson, and Ohio/State Michigan State. The night games are more interesting with Nebraska/Wisconsin, Texas/Ok St., Bammer beating up on Ole Miss, and of course we'll all keep an eye on Carolina.
Next, the schedule (taken from the mothership) along with SBN links, Motley, but first the wrasslin interview (and the match that preceded this interview at the end of this post).
