I've had a hard time getting a good read on this game. I dont really like opening up the season with a premium opponent. I'd rather start with a patsy and play a good team in week 2, so we can work out all the bugs that always come up in the first game.
I'm not sure Clemson will win the battle at the LOS on offense, but if Tajh has improved then he should be able to make a few plays when he can avoid the pressure Auburn is going to bring on our freshman-laden front. Nuk Hopkins will need to make plays today, and guys like Charone Peake and Martavis Bryant will need to take the top off the Auburn secondary with Sammy absent.
After absorbing all the news from Auburn and Clemson's camps, I think Clemson will win the game...barely. It will probably be the team that makes the fewest critical mistakes and turnovers that wins this game.
