Jordan Leggett (6'6 220-230, 4.7), a prospect from Florida personally recruited by Chad Morris, committed to Clemson this afternoon on his visit during Junior Day. The prospect had offers from Louisville, USF, and Central Florida. Leggett is the No. 54 recruit in Florida (FL) and is the No. 15 Tight End in the nation according to 24/7, and is on the ESPNU 150 Watch list, but has not been rated by Rivals yet, but I'll bet on 3 stars.

Leggett is tall and hip flexibility looks good on his WR film, his route running looks OK and his effort in blocking looks good as well. However, he is not fast in the film from his Jr season, and TE speed is what we'll be missing with Allen leaving. I do not think Leggett is a talent upgrade for us at TE, he's more of a Brandon Ford-type. He also plays DE at Navarre HS, and some schools are likely to offer him as a DE. Morris offered him as a 3-back, our TE position.

Leggett is likely to be the only TE commitment in this cycle. He is Clemson's 2nd commitment.

Film after the jump...
