This week's slate of football games has some interesting matchups all afternoon. The early games I will focus upon include LSU visiting ATM and Clemson/VPI. I will be interested to see just how far Auburn has fallen when they travel to Nashvegas. The Raycom ACC game features the Salem Demon Deacons and the white meat-not enough for me other than a quick channel change or score update at the bottom of the screen. At 3:30 it's Texas Tech traveling to TCU and Carolina playing in the swamp. I am still pulling against Notre Dame, especially after they stole one last week. 7:00 should continue Derek Dooley's living hell. I believe Bama is a 20 point road dog (not to be confused with "The Road Dogg" whose associates can be seen at the end of this discussion) and that somehow doesn't seem to be enough even considering it is the third Saturday in October. K. State/West Virginia on FOX should be interesting as well. FSU/Miami is the other primetime game to watch here in the Dirty South. While this is not the game it was 10, 20, or even 30 years ago, it is still a war and we need to pull against FSU for the balance of the season to maintain hope for a BCS birth.
