FSU gamethread

FSU comes to Littlejohn today for the ACC opener for both teams. With the academic schedule pushed back a week, classes don't start until Wednesday, meaning Littlejohn may see a very low student turnout today.

The 'Noles were tabbed to finish 3rd in the ACC preseason poll, but they didn't look very good in non-conference play, and come into ACC play with a 9-5 record. They have yet to beat a single team that is likely to end up dancing in March. They played well against inferior teams, with their lone bad loss to Princeton in triple OT. But they also didn't notch a single quality win, losing games to Harvard, UConn, Michigan State, and Florida.

Michael Snaer is coming off of a career-high 22 point game against Auburn, and the Seminoles' leading scorer will look to continue his hot streak today.

Trevor Booker, who is also coming off of a career-high 22 point game, is in for a big challenge today with FSU's bigs. Bernard James (6-10, 240), Okaro White (6-8, 205), and Xavier Gibson (6-11, 250) could give the Tigers some problems inside.

Luke Loucks is one of the better point guards in the conference, and is currently 4th in the ACC with 3.9 assists per game. Also keep an eye out for FSU's 6th man, shooting sleeve-wearing Lithuanian Deividas Dulkys, who, along with Loucks and Snaer, is shooting over 33% for 3 on the year.

Hopefully we can somehow get a win today. It'd be a pleasant distraction from the unspeakable horror that we all witnessed Wednesday night.
