I think the program is really at a crossroads right now. Clemson will always be a good, solid program because of the fans and the facilities and the tradition. But I think in the next couple of years, they could really take off or they could remain marginal. Because Clemson is a marginal football program the last 20 years, make no mistake about it. They can make all the changes they want, and the coaches can do all that and recruit and everything. I think the program is in great shape to move forward, but they have to have the administration on the same page. The athletic department is on board, no doubt. But you have to have cooperation from the university administration and the academic side of the house. If they're not totally on board, you're never going to achieve what you want to achieve at Clemson University.
