I am sure that a lot of you want to know how the loss of Napier and Powell will immediately effect Clemson's recruiting. We got the recruiting information and split the recruits up by recruiter and by commitment status, as shown below in Tables I through IV.
Table I shows that Billy Napier has but one recruit committed to the 2011 class, Cole Stoudt. Cole committed to Clemson in late-October and was especially excited about being able to come in and immediately compete for playing time at the quarterback position. Stroudt originally committed to Wyoming before changing his allegiance. Stroudt planned for some time to graduate early and enroll at CU in January. Stroudt has offers from Arizona State Cincinnati, and South Florida among others.

Table II (above) lists Napier's recruits that are not committed to Clemson. Below is a quick explanation on where each stands in his recruiting process.
Bailey and Dantzler are currently committed to UGA. Quan Bray is still not committed anywhere but currently has no plans to visit Clemson before NSD. Fanning is an Alabama commit. Garrick does not have an offer from Clemson and will probably end up at a smaller, non-FBS school. Bobby Hart is committed to Florida State, Kevin Hogan committed to Stanford, Hughes to North Carolina, and Alan Posey to Tennessee. Roberts appears to be headed to Dartmouth or Western Carolina. Uzomah is committed to Auburn. Whitehurst--Charlie's cousin, FYI--doesn't have an offer from Clemson, and Wittek is committed to Southern California.
It did not appear as though we would be stealing away already committed recruits. We really would like to pick up Travis Hughes in particular but he appears to be a solid UNC commit, choosing the Tarheels midway through the month of December. As you all know, we need linebackers badly.

I don't think losing Powell is too big of a deal. Most people see Dodd being placed. Isaiah Battle has been a Clemson commit since June and his other offers are ECU and New Mexico. Norton has quite a few options on the table but has been committed to Clemson for a long time (May '10). Williams has been a Clemson commit for well over a year and a half, attends the local high school (Daniel), and--I believe--only has a formal offer from Clemson. I find it hard to believe that any of these guys will decommit due to Powell's departure.

Table IV shows the guys still out there who were on Powell's list but are not currently committed to Clemson. Cannon is currently committed to Kentucky and has not shown much interest in Clemson. Floyd is committed to Wake Forest and appears to have no interest in Clemson. Ty Long is committed to South Alabama.
