Clemson defeats Liberty 79-39

ESPN recap

Clemson squeaked past Liberty 80-75 at home last year, but that was when the Flames had guard Seth Curry, brother of NBA rookie Stephen Curry. Seth transferred to Duke and is sitting out this season, but they could've used him today as we defeat Liberty 79-39. Liberty's first point was a FT and they didnt hit their first FG until a layup at the 13:02 mark.

Clemson has now won 28 straight in November.

Potter hit 4-4 3pt shots in the first 8 minutes, finishing 5-6 from the arc and with 17 points in 20 game minutes. Trevor Booker put up 12 pts and 12 Rebs in 22 game minutes. Clemson committed too many fouls and put Liberty at the FT line at 10min into the game, but it was no contest. We are just faster than they are and they were clearly worn down by the 11 minute mark of the 2nd half. Clemson led 42-19 at the half and pulled away further in the 2nd.

Turnovers: 28-17 CU

Rebounds: 43-27, Off Reb 14-4.
