In the 10th inning, Epps led off with a single to right field and advanced to second on a wild pitch. Two batters later with an 0-2 count on Schaus, Epps moved to third on another wild pitch. Schaus struck out for out #2, then with Parker at the plate, Mitchem threw his third wild pitch of the inning and fourth of the game to allow Epps to score the game-winning run.

KP was at the plate for the WP that scored the tying run in the 8th, and the final one, and went 3-for-5 with a 2R HR and 3 Rs scored.

Clemson used 9 pitchers on the day.

BEAT THE HELL OUT OF DUKE

CLEMSON, SC - Cleveland Browns' wide receiver and Clemson alum Chansi Stuckey plans to donate $10 for every point that the Clemson men's basketball team scores against Duke this weekend to the Red Cross for Haitian relief.

The #16 ranked Clemson Tigers will host the #6 ranked Duke Blue Devils at Littlejohn Coliseum on Saturday night at 9:05 pm ET. The game is being featured as part of ESPN's College Game Day Series.

"My heart goes out to the people of Haiti right now," says Stuckey. "I can't imagine the devastation that they are facing. I hope things get much better for them very soon."

Stuckey graduated from Clemson in 2006 after a stellar career in which he became the first Clemson player since the forties to score a touchdown via pass, rush, punt return and reception and first since 1971 to earn All-ACC honors in consecutive seasons. He was also the first player in Clemson history to post consecutive games with multiple touchdown receptions.

Swinney said he did not offer Steele a raise to remain at Clemson.
"He likes being here. He likes the staff. He loves the players," Swinney said.

Word is that the CUAD is going to step up to the plate with raises for Steele and many on the staff. As you know, it is in Swinney's contract to add support staff positions out of his 1 million dollar pay increase, and we expect that to happen this offseason.
