Lets try this stream. Carl Lawson update: He reaffirmed his commitment to Auburn per Auburn Rivals. His father made two solo visits to Auburn in recent weeks after it seemed they were out of it. His head coach was not a fan of the D-line coach and neither was Carl but that fence was successfully mended. Clemson misses on both the #1 and #2 DE prospects in the nation. Clemson was squarely in the mix, with the lead after his visit to Clemson and at that point it looked like Carl would sign with us. He loved his Tennessee visit but Clemson was still in it. Auburn made it rain. To me Lawson was the best player in the country (Vernon III a close second). Not fun to miss on Pagan, Bullard, Nkemdiche and now Lawson for successive years at DE. Pressure is on Shaq Lawson to produce at a high level. The question is how this impacts our recruitment of Adams. Before this visit all signs pointed towards Adams signing with Clemson. This is now a Clemson/Auburn battle and as I have maintained--Clemson has the lead but it is a slight one.
