Winthrop downs Tigers 3-2 in 11 innings

Leighton Daniels scored on Clay Altman's sacrifice fly in the 11th inning to lift Winthrop to a 3-2 win over Clemson at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Wednesday afternoon. The Eagles improved to 3-5, while the Tigers fell to 5-2.
