Not that I pay much attention to the AJC, but this is one time where they've put words in someones mouth and twisted it a little further than it should go. Putting it in the proper context, you have to understand this is a big dig at Clemson and Jawja fans are insanely pissed off that their staff didn't get a player they wanted, because Richt dropped the ball on another top in-state player. As I've heard someone say, its just like John Johnson all over again. My opinion on Carter is that he's a fringe D-1 player, and I've beat the drum many times saying that you don't win games with players that don't play. I approved of the takes of Kamara and Gallman, but I would not give Schuessler a scholarship. If RN really wants to walk because we don't offer another teammate, let him walk. With a 2.2 GPA, its however unlikely that Carter gets into CU. One player isn't worth 5 anymore than Daniel Andrews was worth Jamie Harper.
