In looking through some of the older articles about the Pistol and a no huddle approach, you pointed out several advantages concerning conditioning. Not only in keeping O-lineman fresher, but also in conditioning the defense by practicing at accelerated pace. Is it possible that some of the defensive collapse last year resulted from shear exhaustion at the end of year one with Morris pushing the pace?
What discernable differences in the conditioning program, if any, have you seen implemented in year two of Morris and year one with Venables running the offseason, spring and summer practices?
These opinions are not necessarily those of the Proprietors of Shakin' The Southland.
