Don't email IPTAY . . . They'll just screw you.

Good morning,

We bought four tickets and they were split up between the upper and
lower deck. We bought four tickets in order to bring our kids and sit
with them. Is this a typical policy? Is there anything that can be
done? Your policy is no longer available online. Why?

Our IPTAY number is xxxxxxx.

Please respond ASAP. If it is the policy of Clemson to split tickets
and there is something wrong with the official web site, please let
me know.

Mr. Lawton(funk),
We do try to assign seats together when available. When we got to your order in the seat assignment process, there was nothing available in the lower deck. Since you did not specify that all tickets must be together, we assigned the 2 new best available. We can move you to the top deck and get all 4 together or we can refund you for 2 of the tickets. The tickets are at the printer and will be mailed directly to you. If you want a refund, please return the ticket you no longer want to us and we will refund you.

I apologize if my initial email seemed harsh. I was concerned with how I would bring my 2 year old and 5 month old (both IPTAY members) to a game if the tickets were not together, and perhaps my tension came through in my email.

I believe my wife has spoken with someone on the phone and resolved this issue . . .

She didn't mention anything about tickets already being sent to the printer, but she did say we had several options other than "We can move you to the top deck and get all 4 together or we can refund you for 2 of the tickets."

I guess email is not the best means of conversation with IPTAY. In the future, I will call in order to facilitate a more personal and amicable conversation from IPTAY's customer support. I'll chalk this up to a lesson learned.
