SC Athletic Director Eric Hyman will leave Cola for same job at Texas A&M as they join the SEC on Sunday. Expect a formal announcement next week sometime. In my opinion, this guy is the best AD the Chickens have ever had, and the first one to get everyone there on the same page. Our rivalries havent been the same since our sissy administration let him dot the "i" in Tigers after the '04 fight. He may have mortgaged everything with the number of bonds SC uses to build their facilities, but at least he had a vision and the balls to get it done. As long as the SEC makes the most money, they won't be in danger with that much debt. This makes 3 big losses for SC athletics this year: Ellis Johnson to Southern Miss, S&C Coach Craig Fitzgerald to Penn State, and now Hyman. I think the longterm move was to get Ray Tanner promoted to AD and Holbrook to head baseball coach, but this may have accelerated the process. Other candidates are GT's AD Dan Radakovich, Danny Morrison at the Panthers, Shawn Eichorst at Miami (LOL).
