ACC is supposedly signing away all 3 tiers of rights again, which is different from the other conferences, and will take home far less money when you factor that portion into it. Basically this amounts to an increase for Clemson of $3 Million per season, and would be WELL behind any Big XII or SEC take-home. Refer here for a comparison of each conference's TV deal, which does NOT include all Tier 3 money. I remind you that in previous posts, we've discussed that the Tier 3 money is what really separates things. For example, a school like Texas could get their $20M deal from ESPN/Fox and another $10M from Tier 3 like the Longhorn Network or other regional network. While Clemson could not get that much from Tier 3 on a "Clemson Tiger Network" channel, for example, we could stand to make considerably more than the $16M per year when you add them together. ACC is signing everything away, so we make no more money, while the other conferences get more and keep the right to sell those TV rights. So while this is better than I had heard we'd get, its going to put us last among the major conferences.
