This is my first post. I like the idea of this site, so I figured I would give this a try. I love me some Clemson, but DO NOT CONTINUE TO READ IF YOU ARE EASILY AFFENDED. The state of Clemson Football has changed alot in my life. Danny Ford was fired when I was 2. All I can say about that is why in the hell wasn't the school burned down? Yeah maybe I took that to far, but you get my point. I had to grow up watching a middle of the pack team be fielded year in and year out. So basically I am probably more frustrated with Clemson than most of you older guys are. I mean at least you guys got to taste success for a decade. Thanks alot older generations. Tommy Bowden's teams were always one play away. I'm not going to lie to anyone here, I thought we were really that close. I think if we could started the 2004 season a day after our beating up the Vols, then it could have been the magic season we all wanted. So of course Bowden never got it done. I still like the man fwiw. After Bowden was fired, Dabo was hired. I like Dabo. I like his energy and enthusiasm. I do not think that he was the best man for the job, but I can not in any way put him at fault for busting his butt trying. He could go on to be one of the best coaches in school history. Who knows? I hope he does. Basicaly guys, I think we are headed in the right direction. Now all we need is somebody with balls to step up to the plate and make this Big 12 thing happen. If we get left in the basketball conference that is the ACC, then people my age are screwing our kids, much like we were screwed by our parents when Danny was fired. Somebody must step up to the President. I don't really care how our academics look. I already have my education. I want football success more than anything Clemson related. Somebody has to step up! Get r done!
