Here Hatch describes why his system works. He's an old man and rambles on quite a bit so if you dont care to listen to all 48min, listen to 12-14min, 20-22min, 34-36min., and 40-43 min.
Just a note- I dont think the "Hatch System" is the only way to train athletes but it is organized, based on olympic weightlifting, and a hell of a lot better than what Clemson does now.
Also, as i have said before, Johnny Long is still out there working in the private sector. PAY THE MAN TO COME TO CLEMSON.
