Jadar Johnson (6'1, 180, 4.6), a Corner/WR from Orangeburg-Wilksinson, committed to CU tonight. He had offers from UNC and NC State already, and Clemson offered just 2 weeks ago. He was recruited/offered by Marion Hobby. I believe if he goes to a few camps that those offers will go way up as a Safety.
Johnson is expected to be a low 3-star out of the gate, but I see that going up a little. He's tall and big for a CB and he plays aggressive on defense which you like to see, plus he isn't nervous with the ball in the air. That comes from playing WR and QB as well at O-W. RIght now he's a zone CB, but its possible you see him grow into Safety. I would not say his man-man footwork technique is a strongsuit because he doesn't look faster than 4.6 on film either.
